Hadith text

Narrated Jundub:I witnessed the Prophet (ﷺ) offering the `Id prayer (and after finishing it) he delivered a sermon and said, "Whoever has slaughtered his sacrifice (before the prayer) should make up for it (i.e. slaughter another animal) and whoever has not slaughtered his sacrifice yet, should slaughter it by mentioning Allah's Name over it

Jundab bataate hain: Maine Nabi (SAW) ko Eid ki namaz padhaate dekha (aur namaz khatam karne ke baad) unhone khutba diya aur kaha, 'Jisne bhi apni qurbaani (namaz se pehle) zibah ki hai, use uski bhar-paayi karni chaahiye (yaani ek aur jaanwar zibah karna chaahiye), aur jisne abhi tak apni qurbaani zibah nahi ki, use Allah ka naam lekar zibah karni chaahiye.'
