Narrated Ibn `Abbas:While the Prophet (ﷺ) was delivering a sermon, he saw a man standing, so he asked about that man. They (the people) said, "It is Abu Israil who has vowed that he will stand and never sit down, and he will never come in the shade, nor speak to anybody, and will fast.'' The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Order him to speak and let him come in the shade, and make him sit down, but let him complete his fast
Ibn Abbas bataate hain: Jab Nabi (SAW) khutba de rahe the, unhone ek aadmi ko khada dekha, isliye unhone us aadmi ke baare mein pucha. Unhone (logon ne) kaha, 'Ye Abu Israil hain jinhone mannat maani hai ke wo khade rahenge aur kabhi baithenge nahi, aur kabhi saaye mein nahi aayenge, na kisi se baat karenge, aur roza rakhenge.' Nabi (SAW) ne kaha, 'Unhein hukm do ke wo baat karein aur saaye mein aayein, aur unhein bithaao, magar unhein apna roza poora karne dein.'
