حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي قَيْسٍ، عَنْ هُزَيْلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ إِنَّ أَهْلَ الإِسْلاَمِ لا يُسَيِّبُونَ، وَإِنَّ أَهْلَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ كَانُوا يُسَيِّبُونَ.
Narrated `Abdullah:The Muslims did not free slaves as Sa'iba, but the People of the Pre-Islamic Period of Ignorance used to do so
Abdullah bataate hain: Musalmaan apne ghulaamon ko Sa'iba (poori tarah azaad, bina kisi zimmedaari ke) ke taur par azaad nahi karte the, magar Jaahiliyat (Islam se pehle) ke daur ke log aisa karte the.
