Hadith text
Narrated Abu Salama:Abu Huraira said, "A man who drank wine was brought to the Prophet. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'Beat him!" Abu Huraira added, "So some of us beat him with our hands, and some with their shoes, and some with their garments (by twisting it) like a lash, and then when we finished, someone said to him, 'May Allah disgrace you!' On that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'Do not say so, for you are helping Satan to overpower him
Abu Salama bataate hain: Abu Huraira ne kaha, 'Ek shaks jisne sharaab pee thi, use Nabi (SAW) ke paas laaya gaya. Nabi (SAW) ne kaha, "Ise maaro!"' Abu Huraira ne izaafa kiya, 'To humme se kuch logon ne use apne haathon se maara, aur kuch ne apni jootiyon se, aur kuch ne apne kapdon se (kode jaisa bata kar), aur jab hum khatam kar chuke, kisi ne usse kaha, "Allah tumhein zaleel kare!" Isper Nabi (SAW) ne kaha, "Aisa mat kaho, kyunke tum Shaitaan ki isper haawi hone mein madad kar rahe ho."'
