Hadith text
Narrated Anas:Some people from the tribe of `Ukl came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and embraced Islam. The climate of Medina did not suit them, so the Prophet (ﷺ) ordered them to go to the (herd of milch) camels of charity and to drink, their milk and urine (as a medicine). They did so, and after they had recovered from their ailment (became healthy) they turned renegades (reverted from Islam) and killed the shepherd of the camels and took the camels away. The Prophet (ﷺ) sent (some people) in their pursuit and so they were (caught and) brought, and the Prophets ordered that their hands and legs should be cut off and that their eyes should be branded with heated pieces of iron, and that their cut hands and legs should not be cauterized, till they die
Anas bataate hain: Ukl qabeele ke kuch log Nabi (SAW) ke paas aaye aur Islam qubool kiya. Madina ki aabo-hawa unhein raas nahi aayi, isliye Nabi (SAW) ne unhein hukm diya ke wo Zakat ke oonton (doodh dene wali) ke paas jaayein aur unka doodh aur peshaab piyein (dawa ke taur par). Unhone waisa hi kiya, aur apni bimaari se theek hone ke baad, wo murtad ho gaye (Islam se peechhe hat gaye) aur oonton ke charwaahe ko qatl karke oont le gaye. Nabi (SAW) ne unke peechhe (kuch logon ko) bheja, isliye unhein (pakadkar) laaya gaya, aur Nabi (SAW) ne hukm diya ke unke haath aur pair kaat diye jaayein aur unki aankhon ko garam loha se daagh diya jaaye, aur unke kaate hue haath aur pair ko dagh na diya jaaye (cauterize na kiya jaaye), yahaan tak ke wo mar jaayein.
