Book 87: Blood Money (Ad-Diyat) · Hadith 15

حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ يَهُودِيًّا، رَضَّ رَأْسَ جَارِيَةٍ بَيْنَ حَجَرَيْنِ، فَقِيلَ لَهَا مَنْ فَعَلَ بِكِ هَذَا أَفُلاَنٌ أَوْ فُلاَنٌ حَتَّى سُمِّيَ الْيَهُودِيُّ، فَأُتِيَ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَلَمْ يَزَلْ بِهِ حَتَّى أَقَرَّ بِهِ، فَرُضَّ رَأْسُهُ بِالْحِجَارَةِ‏.‏

Narrated Anas bin Malik:A Jew crushed the head of a girl between two stones, and the girl was asked, "Who has done that to you, so-and-so or so and so?" (Some names were mentioned for her) till the name of that Jew was mentioned (whereupon she agreed). The Jew was brought to the Prophet (ﷺ) and the Prophet (ﷺ) kept on questioning him till he confessed, whereupon his head was crushed with stones

Anas bin Malik bataate hain: Ek Yahudi ne ek ladki ka sar do pattharon ke beech kuchal diya, aur ladki se pucha gaya, 'Tumhaare saath aisa kisne kiya, falaan ne ya falaan ne?' (kuch naam unhein bataaye gaye) yahaan tak ke us Yahudi ka naam liya gaya (isper usne is naam par sahmati zaahir ki). Yahudi ko Nabi (SAW) ke paas laaya gaya, aur Nabi (SAW) ne usse sawaal poochte rahe jab tak usne iqbaal nahi kiya, isper uska sar pattharon se kuchal diya gaya.
