حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ إِذْ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ ‏"‏ انْطَلِقُوا إِلَى يَهُودَ ‏"‏‏.‏ فَخَرَجْنَا مَعَهُ حَتَّى جِئْنَا بَيْتَ الْمِدْرَاسِ فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَنَادَاهُمْ ‏"‏ يَا مَعْشَرَ يَهُودَ أَسْلِمُوا تَسْلَمُوا ‏"‏‏.‏ فَقَالُوا قَدْ بَلَّغْتَ يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ‏.‏ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ ذَلِكَ أُرِيدُ ‏"‏، ثُمَّ قَالَهَا الثَّانِيَةَ‏.‏ فَقَالُوا قَدْ بَلَّغْتَ يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ‏.‏ ثُمَّ قَالَ الثَّالِثَةَ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ اعْلَمُوا أَنَّ الأَرْضَ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ، وَإِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُجْلِيَكُمْ، فَمَنْ وَجَدَ مِنْكُمْ بِمَالِهِ شَيْئًا فَلْيَبِعْهُ، وَإِلاَّ فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا الأَرْضُ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ‏"‏‏.‏

Narrated Abu Huraira:While we were in the mosque, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came out to us and said, "Let us proceed to the Jews." So we went along with him till we reached Bait-al-Midras (a place where the Torah used to be recited and all the Jews of the town used to gather). The Prophet (ﷺ) stood up and addressed them, "O Assembly of Jews! Embrace Islam and you will be safe!" The Jews replied, "O Aba-l-Qasim! You have conveyed Allah's message to us." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "That is what I want (from you)." He repeated his first statement for the second time, and they said, "You have conveyed Allah's message, O Aba-l- Qasim." Then he said it for the third time and added, "You should Know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle, and I want to exile you fro,,, this land, so whoever among you owns some property, can sell it, otherwise you should know that the Earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle." Abu Huraira bataate hain: Jab hum Masjid mein the, Allah ke Rasool (SAW) hamare paas aaye aur kaha, 'Chalo hum Yahudiyon ke paas chalein.' To hum unke saath chale yahaan tak ke hum Bait-al-Midras (jagah jahaan Taurat padhi jaati thi aur shehar ke sab Yahudi jama hote the) pahunche. Nabi (SAW) khade hue aur unhein khitaab kiya, 'Aye Yahudiyon ke giroh! Islam qubool karo aur suraksha mein raho!' Yahudiyon ne jawab diya, 'Aye Abu-l-Qasim! Aapne humein Allah ka paighaam pahuncha diya hai.' Nabi (SAW) ne kaha, 'Yahi main (tumse) chahta hoon.' Unhone apni pehli baat doosri baar dohraayi, aur unhone kaha, 'Aapne Allah ka paighaam pahuncha diya, Aye Abu-l-Qasim.' Phir unhone ise teesri baar kaha aur izaafa kiya, 'Tumhein pata hona chaahiye ke zameen Allah aur uske Rasool ki hai, aur main tumhein is zameen se jila-watan karna chahta hoon, isliye jo bhi tum mein se koi jaayadaad rakhta hai, wo use bech sakta hai, warna tumhein pata hona chaahiye ke zameen Allah aur uske Rasool ki hai.'
