Hadith text

Narrated 'Amr bin Ash-Sharid: Abu Rafi' said that Sa'd offered him four hundred Mithqal of gold for a house. Abu Rafi ' said, "If I had not heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, 'A neighbor has more right to be taken care of by his neighbor,' then I would not have given it to you." Some people said, "If one has bought a portion of a house and wants to cancel the right of preemption, he may give it as a present to his little son and he will not be obliged to take an oath

Amr bin Ash-Sharid bataate hain: Abu Rafi ne kaha ke Sa'd ne unhein ek ghar ke liye chaar sau Mithqal sona pesh kiya. Abu Rafi ne kaha, 'Agar maine Allah ke Rasool (SAW) ko ye kehte na suna hota, "Padosi apne padosi ki dekhbhaal paane ka zyaada haqdaar hai," to main ye aapko na deta.' Kuch logon ne kaha, 'Agar kisi ne ghar ka ek hissa khareeda hai aur Shufa'a ke haq ko rad karna chahta hai, wo ise apne chhote bete ko tohfe mein de sakta hai aur use qasam khaane ki zaroorat nahi hogi.'
