Hadith text

Narrated Salim's father:about the Prophet's dream in which he has seen Abu Bakr and `Umar: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I saw (in a dream) that the people had gathered. Then Abu Bakr stood up and pulled out one or two buckets full of water (from a well) and there was weakness in his pulling -- may Allah forgive him. Then Ibn Al- Khattab stood up, and the bucket turned into a very large one and I have never seen any strong man among the people doing such a hard job. He pulled out so much water that the people (drank to their satisfaction) and watered their camels to their fill, (and then after quenching their thirst) they sat beside the water

Salim ke waalid bataate hain, Nabi (SAW) ke khwaab ke baare mein jismein unhone Abu Bakr aur Umar ko dekha: Nabi (SAW) ne kaha, 'Maine (khwaab mein) dekha ke log jama the. Phir Abu Bakr khade hue aur ek ya do bucket (bhare) paani nikaale, aur unke kheenchne mein kamzori thi -- Allah unhein maaf kare. Phir Ibn Al-Khattab khade hue, aur bucket ek bahut bada bucket ban gaya aur maine kabhi kisi mazboot aadmi ko aisi sakht mehnat karte nahi dekha. Unhone itna paani nikaala ke log (jee bhar kar piye) aur unhone apne oonton ko jee bhar kar paani pilaaya, (aur phir apni pyaas bujhaane ke baad) wo paani ke kinaare baith gaye.'
