Sahih al-Bukhari 7143

Hadith text

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If somebody sees his Muslim ruler doing something he disapproves of, he should be patient, for whoever becomes separate from the Muslim group even for a span and then dies, he will die as those who died in the Pre-Islamic period of ignorance (as rebellious sinners). (See Hadith No. 176 and)

Ibn Abbas bataate hain: Nabi (SAW) ne farmaya, 'Agar koi apne Musalmaan hukmraan ki koi aisi baat dekhe jo use napasand ho, use sabra karna chaahiye, kyunke jo koi Musalmaanon ki jamaat se ek bitta bhi alag ho jaaye aur phir mar jaaye, wo usi tarah marega jaise Jaahiliyat (Islam se pehle) ke daur mein log marte the (baaghi gunahgaar ke taur par).'
