Sahih al-Bukhari 7238

Hadith text

Narrated Al-Qasim bin Muhammad:Ibn `Abbas mentioned the case of a couple on whom the judgment of Lian has been passed. `Abdullah bin Shaddad said, "Was that the lady in whose case the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If I were to stone a lady to death without a proof (against her)?' "Ibn `Abbas said, "No! That was concerned with a woman who though being a Muslim used to arouse suspicion by her outright misbehavior." (See Hadith No. 230, Vol)

Al-Qasim bin Muhammad bataate hain: Ibn Abbas ne un logon ka zikr kiya jinke baare mein Li'an ka faisla diya gaya tha. Abdullah bin Shaddad ne kaha, 'Kya wo wahi khaatoon thi jinke baare mein Nabi (SAW) ne kaha tha, "Agar main kisi khaatoon ko bina saboot ke sangsaar karta"?' Ibn Abbas ne kaha, 'Nahi! Wo ek aisi khaatoon ke baare mein tha jo Musalmaan hote hue bhi apne khule bure vyavahaar se shak paida karti thi.' (Poori tafseel ke liye Hadees No. 230, Jild dekhein.)
