Hadith text
Narrated Abu Huraira:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) finished his prayer after offerings two rak`at only. Dhul-Yaddain asked him whether the prayer had been reduced, or you had forgotten?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Is Dhul-Yaddain speaking the truth?" The people said, "Yes." Then Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) stood up and performed another two rak`at and then finished prayer with Taslim, and then said the Takbir and performed a prostration similar to or longer than his ordinary prostrations; then he raised his head, said Takbir and prostrated and then raised his head (Sahu prostrations)
Abu Huraira bataate hain: Allah ke Rasool (SAW) ne sirf do rakat ke baad apni namaz khatam ki. Dhul-Yaddain ne unse pucha ke kya namaz kam kar di gayi hai, ya aap bhool gaye? Nabi (SAW) ne kaha, 'Kya Dhul-Yaddain sach kah rahe hain?' Logon ne kaha, 'Haan.' Phir Allah ke Rasool (SAW) khade hue aur do aur rakat padhi aur Taslim se apni namaz khatam ki, phir Takbeer kahi aur ek sajda kiya jo unke aam sajdon jaisa tha ya usse lamba, phir unhone apna sar uthaaya, Takbeer kahi aur sajda kiya, phir apna sar uthaaya (ye do sajde Sahu ke the).
