Hadith text

Narrated Tauba Al-`Anbari:Ash-'Shu`bi asked me, "Did you notice how Al-Hasan used to narrate Hadiths from the Prophets? I stayed with Ibn `Umar for about two or one-and-half years and I did not hear him narrating any thing from the Prophet (ﷺ) except his (Hadith): He (Ibn `Umar) said, "Some of the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) including Sa`d, were going to eat meat, but one of the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) called them, saying, 'It is the meat of a Mastigure.' The people then stopped eating it. On that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, 'Carry on eating, for it is lawful.' Or said, 'There is no harm in eating it, but it is not from my meals

Tauba Al-Anbari bataate hain: Ash-Shu'bi ne mujhse pucha, 'Kya tumne notice kiya Al-Hasan Prophets se kaise hadeesein bayaan karte the? Main Ibn Umar ke saath do saal ya dedh saal reha aur maine unhein Nabi (SAW) se koi bhi hadees riwaayat karte nahi suna siwaaye is (hadees) ke: Unhone kaha, "Nabi (SAW) ke sahaaba mein se kuch, jinmein Sa'd bhi the, gosht khaane wale the, magar Nabi (SAW) ki ek biwi ne unhein bulaakar kaha, 'Ye Mastigure (chhipkali jaisi jaanwar) ka gosht hai.' Log ye khaane se ruk gaye. Isper Allah ke Rasool (SAW) ne kaha, 'Khaate raho, kyunke ye jaayez hai,' ya kaha, 'Ise khaane mein koi harj nahi, magar ye mera khaana nahi hai.'"'
