Sahih al-Bukhari 7348

Hadith text

Narrated Abu Huraira:While we were in the mosque, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came out and said, "Let us proceed to the Jews." So we went out with him till we came to Bait-al-Midras. The Prophet (ﷺ) stood up there and called them, saying, "O assembly of Jews! Surrender to Allah (embrace Islam) and you will be safe!" They said, "You have conveyed Allah's message, O Aba-al-Qasim" Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) then said to them, "That is what I want; embrace Islam and you will be safe." They said, "You have conveyed the message, O Aba-al- Qasim." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) then said to them, "That is what I want," and repeated his words for the third time and added, "Know that the earth is for Allah and I want to exile you from this land, so whoever among you has property he should sell it, otherwise, know that the land is for Allah and His Apostle

Abu Huraira bataate hain: Jab hum Masjid mein the, Allah ke Rasool (SAW) baahar aaye aur kaha, 'Chalo hum Yahudiyon ke paas chalein.' To hum unke saath chale yahaan tak ke hum Bait-al-Midras pahunche. Nabi (SAW) wahaan khade hue aur unhein bulaaya, kehte hue, 'Aye Yahudiyon ke giroh! Allah ke saamne surrender karo (Islam qubool karo) aur suraksha mein raho!' Unhone kaha, 'Aapne Allah ka paighaam pahuncha diya, Aye Abal-Qasim.' Allah ke Rasool (SAW) ne phir unse kaha, 'Yahi main chahta hoon; Islam qubool karo aur suraksha mein raho.' Unhone kaha, 'Aapne paighaam pahuncha diya, Aye Abal-Qasim.' Allah ke Rasool (SAW) ne phir unse kaha, 'Yahi main chahta hoon,' aur apne alfaaz teesri baar dohraaye aur izaafa kiya, 'Jaan lo ke zameen Allah ki hai aur main tumhein is zameen se jila-watan karna chahta hoon, isliye jo bhi tum mein se koi jaayadaad rakhta hai, wo use bech sakta hai, warna jaan lo ke zameen Allah aur uske Rasool ki hai.'
