Narrated `Abdullah bin `Amr:Abu Bakr As-Siddiq said to the Prophet (ﷺ) "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Teach me an invocation with which I may invoke Allah in my prayers." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Say: O Allah! I have wronged my soul very much (oppressed myself), and none forgives the sins but You; so please bestow Your Forgiveness upon me. Abdullah bin Amr bataate hain: Abu Bakr As-Siddiq ne Nabi (SAW) se kaha, 'Aye Allah ke Rasool! Mujhe koi dua sikhaiye jise main apni namaz mein Allah se maang sakoon.' Nabi (SAW) ne kaha, 'Kaho: Aye Allah! Maine apni jaan par bahut zulm kiya hai, aur gunaahon ko sirf Tu hi maaf karta hai; isliye barah-e-meharbaani mujhpar apni maafi ata kar. Beshak, Tu bahut zyaada maaf karne wala, bahut meharbaan hai.'
