Book 97: Oneness, Uniqueness of Allah (Tawheed) · Hadith 61
Hadith text
Narrated Jarir:We were sitting with the Prophet (ﷺ) and he looked at the moon on the night of the full-moon and said, "You people will see your Lord as you see this full moon, and you will have no trouble in seeing Him, so if you can avoid missing (through sleep or business, etc.) a prayer before sunrise (Fajr) and a prayer before sunset (`Asr) you must do so." (See Hadith No. 529, Vol)
Jarir bataate hain: Hum Nabi (SAW) ke saath baithe the aur unhone poornima ki raat ko chaand ki taraf dekha aur kaha, 'Tum log apne Rab ko waise hi dekhoge jaise tum is poore chaand ko dekhte ho, aur tumhein use dekhne mein koi mushkil nahi hogi, isliye agar tum suraj nikalne se pehle ki namaz (Fajr) aur suraj doobne se pehle ki namaz (Asr) chhootne se bach sako, to zaroor bacho.' (Poori tafseel ke liye Hadees No. 529, Jild dekhein.)
