Sahih al-Bukhari 7449

Hadith text

Narrated Abu Huraira:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Paradise and Hell (Fire) quarrelled in the presence of their Lord. Paradise said, 'O Lord! What is wrong with me that only the poor and humble people enter me ?' Hell (Fire) said, I have been favored with the arrogant people.' So Allah said to Paradise, 'You are My Mercy,' and said to Hell, 'You are My Punishment which I inflict upon whom I wish, and I shall fill both of you.'" The Prophet added, "As for Paradise, (it will be filled with good people) because Allah does not wrong any of His created things, and He creates for Hell (Fire) whomever He will, and they will be thrown into it, and it will say thrice, 'Is there any more, till Allah (will put) His Foot over it and it will become full and its sides will come close to each other and it will say, 'Qat! Qat! Qat! (Enough! Enough! Enough)

Abu Huraira bataate hain: Nabi (SAW) ne farmaya, 'Jannat aur Jahannam (Aag) ne apne Rab ke saamne jhagda kiya. Jannat ne kaha, "Aye Rab! Mujhe kya hua hai ke sirf gareeb aur namrat log hi mujhme daakhil hote hain?" Jahannam ne kaha, "Mujhe ghamandi logon se nawaaza gaya hai." To Allah ne Jannat se kaha, "Tu Meri Rehmat hai," aur Jahannam se kaha, "Tu Meri Saza hai jo main jise chaahun uspar daalta hoon, aur main tum dono ko bhar dunga."' Nabi (SAW) ne izaafa kiya, 'Jahaan tak Jannat ki baat hai, (ise achhe logon se bhara jaayega) kyunke Allah apni banaayi hui kisi bhi cheez ke saath zulm nahi karta, aur wo Jahannam ke liye jise chaahega paida karega, aur unhein usme phenka jaayega, aur ye teen baar kahegi, "Kya aur bhi hai?" jab tak Allah (apna) Qadam usmein na rakhe aur ye bhar jaaye aur iske hisse ek doosre ke qareeb aa jaayein aur ye kahe, "Qat! Qat! Qat! (Bas! Bas! Bas!)"'
