Book 97: Oneness, Uniqueness of Allah (Tawheed) · Hadith 103
Hadith text
Narrated Abu Huraira:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "None of you should say: 'O Allah! Forgive me if You wish,' or 'Bestow Your Mercy on me if You wish,' or 'Provide me with means of subsistence if You wish,' but he should be firm in his request, for Allah does what He will and nobody can force Him (to do anything)
Abu Huraira bataate hain: Nabi (SAW) ne farmaya, 'Tum mein se koi bhi ye na kahe: "Aye Allah! Mujhe maaf kar de agar tu chaahe," ya "Mujhpar apni Rehmat ata kar agar tu chaahe," ya "Mujhe rozi de agar tu chaahe," balke use apni maang mein mazboot rehna chaahiye, kyunke Allah jo chaahta hai wo karta hai aur koi bhi Use majboor nahi kar sakta.'
