Hadith text

Narrated `Adi bin Hatim:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "There will be none among you but his Lord will talk to him, and there will be no interpreter between him and Allah. He will look to his right and see nothing but his deeds which he has sent forward, and will look to his left and see nothing but his deeds which he has sent forward, and will look in front of him and see nothing but the (Hell) Fire facing him. So save yourself from the (Hell) Fire even with half a date (given in charity)." Al-A`mash said: `Amr bin Murra said, Khaithama narrated the same and added, '..even with a good word

Adi bin Hatim bataate hain: Allah ke Rasool (SAW) ne farmaya, 'Tum mein se koi bhi nahi hoga jiske saath uska Rab baat na karega, aur unke beech koi mutarjim nahi hoga. Wo apni daayin taraf dekhega aur usmein sirf apne aage bheje hue amaal dekhega, aur apni baayin taraf dekhega aur usmein sirf apne aage bheje hue amaal dekhega, aur apne saamne dekhega aur (Jahannam ki) Aag ko apne saamne aata dekhega. Isliye khud ko Aag se bachaao, chaahe aadhe khajoor ke saath (sadqe mein diye gaye) hi kyun na ho.' Al-A'mash ne kaha: Amr bin Murra ne kaha, Khaithama ne yahi riwaayat ki aur izaafa kiya, '...ya ek achhi baat se hi bacho.'
